Garmin Distributed Audio

The goal of this project was to refactor an existing C++ codebase so that it could support new features for future Garmin Fusion stereos. This project enables many of the new features that were introduced when the Garmin Fusion ERX400 remote was released, such as Grouping/Partybus, remote power control, and screensharing. I designed and implemented a large majority of the new software architecture, which involved coming up with policies for managing and storing data in the products, discovering and communicating with other stereos on a network, and handling power states, among other things.
